DO YOU KNOW A 'SOUR PUSS'?
‘Sour puss’ meaning they drag through the day, sour, with no enthusiasm, they hardly ever smile, they don’t laugh anymore and they have a sour look on their face that seems like it’s plastered there. Everything seems to be a burden.
Do you know anyone like that?
See, I don’t think we were put on this earth to endure life, we were put here to enjoy life. I don’t think we were ever meant to go through life with a long face, and be sour and grumpy. Yet some people do it so well, they’re well practiced at looking for and finding fault, not having much good to say about anyone or anything. They’re a drag to be around.
On the other hand, you may know someone who by their very presence, their enthusiasm and outward joy, brighten a room, or a conversation, and who can leave you feeling uplifted and happier just by being in their presence. It’s like their happiness and enthusiasm for life rubs off on you. When you leave, you feel refreshed, reenergized and inspired.
Do you know someone like that?

So, this message is short and sweet.
There are many of us who need to get our joy back. We’ve let the pressure of life get us down. There’s no excitement about the future. You’re not enjoying the people who are in your life. You don’t laugh and smile like you know you should.
If you don’t make an adjustment, a change, you’ll go year after year and get more solemn… and here’s the thing… it’s not only robbing you of the joy that belongs to you… it’s robbing your family and friends of the gift that you have to give.

So now would be a good time to draw a line in the sand, don’t you think?
And say ,‘That’s it! I’m not going to waste another day being negative, sour, grumpy and discouraged.’ ‘I’m going to put a smile on my face, look for and have gratitude for all that I have, and let my joy be seen so that I can brighten somebody else’s day’

It’s easy to delude ourselves into thinking, “When I just have that nice house and new car, then I can be happy. A big house or a new car won’t actually make you happier; it’s the simple joys in life that bring true happiness.
